About the Tournament

Launched in 2021 and named in honor of the late Augusta National Chairman, the Jackson T. Stephens Cup has quickly become the premier event in collegiate golf. This annual invitational brings together top-tier NCAA Division I men’s and women’s teams, standout players from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), and representatives from the United States Service Academies for a week of elite competition and camaraderie.

The 2025 Jackson T. Stephens Cup heads to Shoreacres in Lake Bluff, Illinois – a world-class venue known for its beauty and challenge. While the event travels to top golf courses around the country each year, its official home remains the prestigious Alotian Club in Roland, Arkansas.

Tournament play features 54 holes of stroke play, followed by an exciting final day of 18-hole match play.

Shoreacres

The host of this year’s event is Shoreacres, located just off the shore of Lake Michigan in Lake Bluff, IL. Golf course architect Seth Raynor’s design utilizes several unique and natural features of the land. These architectural elements include ravines that factor into thirteen of the eighteen holes. The Jackson T. Stephens Cup will offer fans the rare opportunity to witness the best college players in the nation experience this classic Seth Raynor design.
